Roxul Conrox provides an excellent structural core for factory engineered flat and profiled sandwich (composite) panels. It is suitable for outdoor and indoor applications such as facades, walls, roofs, partitions, ceilings and heavy loaded sandwich panels for e.g. extra-wide spans or applications of greater height.
 
Generally speaking, the use of sandwich panels is a quick and efficient construction method. A building can be made wind and watertight in one simple working process.

Thermal Properties
A sandwich construction guarantees a continuous insulating layer without thermal bridges. The Roxul Conrox core material does not age and the heat transmission co-efficient remains constant. Thermal bridges cannot be formed between the insulating sheets, as the sheets do not warp or shrink. The sandwich construction therefore offers permanently durable properties.

Fire Safety
Thanks to the combination of product properties, sandwich panels with a Conrox core are very fire resistant and the core does not contribute to a fire spreading. Roxul Conrox core material therefore helps to prevent total damage in the event of a fire.

Mechanical Load & Dimensional Stability
Roxul Conrox core material is very pressure resistant for both static and dynamic loads applied to the construction. The material is fully dimensionally stable, insensitive to temperature and moisture, and is durable. Therefore, Conrox will not result in tension in the sandwich panels.

Sound Insulation
Individual comfort in buildings depends strongly on the acoustic climate. Due to its fibre structure Roxul Conrox provides good soundproofing and fantastic sound absorption properties.
